Breakdown and recovery
Breaking down is one of those things that will happen at some stage to most of us.Normally at the most inconvienient time and place. It happens to the best maintained vehicles. If you cant get to us, then we have the solution.
Its not brain surgery to us. Our customers use cars, cars break down, and they very rarely do it convieniently outside our workshops (Although it has happened ! ) If you cant get to us, then we will come to you. Wether at the roadside, off road or outside your house or work. Often we can get you going without the need to bring your vehicle to the workshop. Sometimes its a "get you home" repair, other times it is fixed outright. Our mobile workshop is equipped with tools and common parts to enable us to get you moving as soon as possible, and our prices will not kill your wallet either.
If we cant repair your vehicle straight away and it needs to be recovered to the workshop, we can arrange this for you. Taking the strain of organising it all of your shoulders. from the first call that your vehicle is having problems to being returned to you in a good state of health we inform you all the way of what needs doing and obtaining your permission before proceeding. yet again you will recieve no unexpected bills or suprises.
Off road recovery is somewhat of an art form that most recovery companies have no experience in. 4x4LRS specialise in recovering vehicles that are broken down, or simply stuck off road. using heavy duty winches, jacks, kinetic ropes and other equipment, we have the means and the know how to recover vehicles safely and with minimal damage to the vehicles and the surrounding environment.
4x4LRS is a member of 4x4 Response North East which provides 4x4 vehicle back up for events such as sponsored hill walks as well as supporting the local emergency services in adverse weather. As a member of 4x4RNE we regularly practise off road recovery and also teach other responsible 4x4 owners how to self recover in a safe manner that is mindful of the off road environment they are in.
